Request Account Deletion
This page explains how to permanently delete your RhythmicFlow account and the data associated with it. Your account (the record on our servers) is deleted by emailing us; your on-device data you can remove yourself at any time, without contacting anyone.
Quick summary
- Delete your account (server record): send a note from your registered email to info@satyamtechnologies.net with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We confirm within 7 days.
- Delete your on-device data: remove individual items in the app (sessions in the Activity tab, rhythms on Home, uploads in the media pickers), or clear everything at once from your phone's Settings → Apps → RhythmicFlow → Storage → Clear storage — or simply uninstall.
1. What gets deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently erased from our backend servers:
- Your username and email address
- Your password hash
- Your mobile phone number (if you provided one for OTP login)
- Your profile picture (if you uploaded one)
- Any linked social sign-in identifiers (Google, Facebook, X)
- Your admin role flag (if applicable)
Any data that lives only on your device — custom rhythms, practice history, uploaded backgrounds, uploaded audio and video, theme and reminder preferences — is erased the moment you clear the app's storage (Settings → Apps → RhythmicFlow → Storage → Clear storage) or uninstall the app. We never had a copy of that data in the first place.
2. What may be retained
The only items we retain after account deletion are:
- Anonymous, aggregate counts (e.g. total number of accounts per month). These contain no personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to you.
- Purchase records tied to Google Play order IDs, if you ever bought a Premium subscription. Google Play requires us to retain these for tax and fraud-prevention purposes for up to 7 years, as mandated by local law. These records contain only the order ID and purchase state, not your name or email.
No other data is retained.
3. How to request deletion by email
- From the email address you registered with, write to info@satyamtechnologies.net.
- Subject line:
Account deletion request - Body: include your RhythmicFlow username. (This helps us find the right account quickly if you registered with a different address than the one you are writing from.)
- Send.
We will:
- Acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Complete deletion within 7 days.
- Reply with confirmation once the account is gone.
4. How to clear your on-device data
You can remove your local data yourself, without contacting us:
- Selectively: delete individual practice sessions (or all of them) from the Activity tab, delete custom rhythms from Home, and remove uploads from the media picker screens.
- All at once: open your phone's Settings → Apps → RhythmicFlow → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app, to wipe everything stored on the device.
- Clearing on-device data does not delete your account record on our servers — for that, use the email step in section 3 above.
5. If you haven't created an account
RhythmicFlow works fully offline without an account. If you never tapped Register or Log in, we have no data about you at all — simply uninstalling the app removes everything.
